Delete your Mentaka account

You can request deletion of your Mentaka account and associated personal data.

From the Android learner app

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile, then Settings, and choose Delete account.
3. Read the deletion notice and type DELETE to confirm.

This permanently removes your account profile, learning progress, saved profile photo, sign-in sessions, linked sign-in identity, your community reply text, your own community post text, blocks, mentoring requests, private feedback, reports you submitted, daily AI usage records and account-linked feedback abuse counters. Opted-in CV sharing snapshots, account-linked consent receipts, sharing events, in-app notifications and community likes are also removed. Already shared employer copies cannot be automatically recalled. If other members replied to your post, their replies may remain in an anonymous thread with your original post removed.

Where account administration is enabled, deletion also removes your account-linked profile and progress records, mission attempts, personal activity records, private support notes and credit balance and ledger records. Pseudonymous administrative audit records may remain for accountability.

If you cannot access the app

Email hello@mentaka.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject Mentaka account deletion request. We must verify ownership before deleting anything. Never send a password or sign-in code.

Account deletion cannot be undone. Personal information that other people included in their own comments is not automatically removed; identify those comments in your request so we can review them. Provider safety records and infrastructure backups may be retained under applicable provider and backup policies.
